Change to Tuesday's Opening Session Agenda
Posted: 07/27/2006
In order to accommodate Dr. Grim's schedule we have moved Tuesday’s start time to 8:00 am rather than the original 9:00 am.
Line up for the Grand Entry will begin at 7:30 am. Participants are asked to arrive in time at the staging area outside Grand Ball Room B to allow enough time to prepare.
The Grand Entry will start at 8:00 am sharp followed by Opening Prayer, a short video, the official Welcome and Introductions, and then our Keynote Speaker Dr. Charles Grim promptly at 9:15. Terry Fleck will close out the morning session.
Tuesday, August 1 Opening Agenda:
7:30 AM - Line up for Grand Entry outside Grand Ball Room B.
8:00 AM – GRAND ENTRY BEGINS
8:45 AM - Opening Prayer, Video, Welcome and Introductions
9:15 AM - Keynote Speaker Dr. Charles Grim, Director, IHS
10:15 AM - Terry Fleck
We sincerely apologize for the last-minute changes but they were unavoidable. Thank you in advance for your participation and warm welcome of Dr. Grim at 9:15 AM!

News from the NACHR Board
Posted: 05/08/2006
April 23-28 a planning meeting occurred for the CHR Triennial Conference set for July 31-August 3. Forty fascinating educational breakout sessions were selected, which means the conference agenda is firming up.
We are all very excited about:
- the educational and networking opportunities for CHRs
- the great speakers in the plenary and breakout sessions, including Dr. Grim as our opening keynote and the hit reality TV show's SURVIVOR 3rd place finisher Dr. Scout Cloud Lee, 60 year old grandmother and business/motivational trainer for huge corporations and federal agencies such as the CIA and FBI among others
- the chance to recognize CHRs nationwide for their years of dedicated service
- the fact that James and Ernie will provide their unique and uplifting humor regarding health promotion and CHRs at the Banquet
- the outstanding door prizes and raffle items that you all have a chance to win!
We want to strongly encourage CHR Programs to register for the conference and make your hotel room reservations now. CHR Supervisors and Directors, please register using the links on this website, and start the approval process within your own Tribes!
After registering for the conference, please remember to make your sleeping room reservations with the South Coast immediately and be sure to note the promotional code of "CHR Triennial Conference" to receive the special room rate of $69.00 night! Check out the website at www.southcoastcasino.com.
The rooms are gorgeous at this brand new facility and a bargain at that price (far below the government rate!). Don't wait so long that the block of rooms reserved fills up and the rate no longer applies. It will definitely be higher after the room release date of June 30 or if the block fills.
So please make your room reservations now! Although your credit card will be charged for your first night's stay, that first night's stay will be credited back to your account if you cancel your reservation 72 hours (3 days) prior to your scheduled arrival.
